I was very happy to read your article until I came to the Tomb of the unknown soldier section. Your rude comment about political windbags was un necessary. President Clinton is not just a political windbag, but was our President, and you should show him the respect the office deserves. I am a daughter of a Commander in the Navy, a Navy pilot, and have strong feelings for our country and its leaders and history, and feel personal derogatory comments don't have a place in such hallowed environs as this article and its subject. Thank you.

Thanks Samantha :). But remember I'm just an amateur history buff and these postings are my opinions. So don't take what I say as gospel. Check out other sites & books as well.

Oh, and no copying ;).

Thank you for an informative site! I'm using it to teach my granddaughter about the wars. She's 8. My grandfather, her great-grandfather, and family is buried here, and this was a terrific short synopsis for her!
